Whether we like it or not, the Atlantic Slave Trade and the introduction of kidnapped Africans and the continued breeding of Black men and women to provide a “cheap” labor force are the backbones of building an economically dominant America. Never equated as equal nor human, Black people in the Americas have never been allowed to stand on their own much less establish their own identity. Now after more than four centuries of terrorism, denial, and neglect Racism is a critical factor in the lives of Black Americans. Primarily we have wasted too much of our lives and efforts to convince “White Americans” that we are worthy; much of that effort to no avail. With that in mind, I’ve created my own version of a Racism Paradigm. From a myopic view, it is very easy for Americans (not just White Americans) to view racism as the cringe of uncomfortable words, looks, violent incidents, or other visible “evidence” of “Racism”. For the sake of this site, I have two functional definitions from which I operate.
- What is White Supremacy? With Neely Fuller as my example, I believe that the fundamental problem for not just the Americas but also colonization is an extension of White Supremacy.
- For a more functional definition of modern America I default to Dr. Claud Anderson’s definition of Racism:
My “paradigm” is history-based and I’ve arbitrarily created highlights of how I see the development of Racism in America. I make no academic claims or intellectual determinations about the material in this section. I hope this historical information is correct and the opinions expressed open some eyes. At the end of this, my intention is to create a forum, not for discussion but for adding related articles to expand the history and understanding of white supremacy in the USA. I’m not looking to document every personal slight, murder, or aggravation experienced by Black Americans. The daily injustices we receive or perceive are harassment and interdictions are designed to keep us off-balance, harried, afraid and confused. My objective is to get you to arm yourself with knowledge. We can not truly go forward until we understand the injustices of the past which still plague us today; nor can we truly go forward until we correct those injustices.
